LEWCO Delivers 800°F Drying Ovens

Over the years LEWCO has earned the reputation for providing high quality, dependable, and efficient industrial ovens. Recently, LEWCO delivered two industrial batch ovens with a maximum temperature of 800°F. The ovens are heated with direct fired natural gas and are used for curing and drying various parts.

Each walk-in oven is equipped with a top mounted heater box and a heat capacity of 1,000,000 BTU’s/Hr. A 14,000 CFM high-efficiency circulation fan delivers uniform air throughout the 120” W x 120” D x 84”H workspace. A 750 CFM exhaust fan is included to discharge the moisture laden air and pull in fresh make-up air.

The ovens had to be custom configured to fit into a tight space in an existing room with a recessed floor. They also had to be designed to ship in multiple sections to fit through restrictive doorways. Detailed instructions and drawings were provided to assist the customer in reassembling both ovens.

Oven controls included Eurtotherm temperature controllers providing precise temperature control and over temperature protection. The main process controller has a multitude of capabilities such as ramp/ soak programming, data logging and Ethernet communications.
