LEWCO Manufactures Steam Heated Melt Oven

LEWCO, Inc. was recently chosen to design and manufacture a custom 200°F steam heated cabinet oven that is used to melt residuals out of special containers. What makes this oven unique is the stainless-steel collection pan in the base of the oven. This is not a common application and something we don’t see too often in the industrial oven world. The pan collects the contents melted from the containers and compiles in a drain pipe that extends out from the bottom of the oven emptying into another container.

This oven includes a top mounted heater box with a heating capacity of 250,000 BTU’s/ HR. A 3,500 CFM high-efficiency circulation fan delivers horizontal airflow throughout the workspace. Due to the ovens NFPA 86 Class A rated requirement, a 62 CFM exhaust fan is included to meet safety ventilation standards. Bi-parting swing doors are placed on both the front and back of the cabinet for ergonomic access to the parts. LEWCO’s standard steam heated oven controls include process and high-limit controllers, fully modulating steam control valve and high-limit shut-off valve, all housed in a NEMA 12 enclosure.
